+1 the majority of Amazon's sales on physical media are simply to match Best Buy's sales or Target's B2G1 promos. Would rather support the companies that actually put things on sale not just the megacorp that reactively price matches their competition.

If available for same price, buy from Best Buy.

Best Buy is the place to buy these 4k deals. They are the store that originally had the sale and they have way more options available than what is listed here.

Buy from companies that actually offer you deals not predatory places like Amazon that try to price match the competition out of existence

Top Gun in 4k is showing $20+. I assume the 4k deal is dead for this one?

Best Buy charges shipping ($6) which i'm not crazy about
There are ways to get around it. If you order one random item for store pickup to reach the free shipping, the other item will be shipped for free. The store pickup will cancel itself if you don't pick it up. Same goes for Target (but not Walmart). Amazon just wants you to buy more things in order to hit the $35 for free shipping.

Totally agree with you. Unfortunately people are not listening, and they will soon pay the price. That's called stupidity. We are about to lose one of the largest physical media supplier, Ingram. It's shutting down next year after 35 years in business. Even for those retailers that stick around such as Walmart Target Barnes & Nobles, you'll definitely see smaller catalog of Blu-ray they carry. There will be less stuff for Amazon to price match other retailers in the future. It's simple economics. Some of the best deals I got from Best Buy in the last two years all made to FP because Amazon PM. Otherwise Amazon has no reason to give you discount. Soon they have less reasons to if there fewer and fewer suppliers and retailers. I order everything from Best Buy even after Amazon PM, just to give them the business. Sadly this will be the last BF Blu-ray that we are all buying from Best Buy.

Got the A Clockwork Orange 4K at Best Buy just now. Had a digital code that expired on 9/30/23. Haven't bought a physical movie in a while, and only $6, but still kind of annoying to put a digital code with an expiration date in an item that could sit on the shelf for years
Many times the expired codes still work, if not most. Try it.

Some of y'all really don't think Best Buy is a megacorp? They're not as big as Amazon but they're far from being a local mom and pop operations.

Best Buy has a 15 billion market cap. Amazon's is 1.5 trillion. I would say the corporation 100x bigger than another corporation is the megacorp of the pair. Also, Amazon runs a marketplace ecosystem that gives them advantage over sellers, and is consolidating across industries. They recently bought OneMedical which means they control some people's primary care physicians. Not to mention the most obvious thing, AWS, where most of the world's most popular apps and websites run on.

Had the same problem with a couple of these. Codes expired, reached out to the site listed on the codes and WB and Universal wouldn't replace them. 🀷 ♂️ total bummer

Does (4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital) mean that I can play this disc in a regular bluray player?
It's late... is this a serious question?

Just an FYI, the digital code for Clockwork Orange expired 9/30/2023... it's in the 'small print' of the amazon listing.

Best Buy is a terrible company plus they're stopping sales of physical media regardless soon.

Amazon doesn't want to give you the discount. Last time Target did a B2G1 deal, Amazon copied. As soon as Target ran out of stock on certain movies, those movies were also removed from B2G1 promo. Most of the best deals on Blu-ray came from Target and Best Buy or PM by Amazon.

I buy a lot of Blu-ray, only 10% of what I buy came from Amazon's deal. Over half came from Target's B2G1 sale, and another 25% from Best Buy and Walmart BF. If Amazon genuinely wants to give us discount, why not throw B2G1 when Target isn't doing it?

Best Buy is practically giving up on physical media now. Also I have personally NEVER been a fan of Best Buy. I have fond memories of Media Play and Towers and a few other places.

Physical media really came in handy over the last couple of days in my north Dallas neighborhood. AT&T fiber has been down for the last 36 hours with repairs due to a main line being damaged.

WOW!
Had no idea about Ingram! I still remember the crew and our rep from Ingram from the 80s. Such a great place and good people. Them exiting is huge.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie was excellent.
UHD had a minor glitch at the 50% point but the BD was perfect.
