Royce Union RGF Gravel bike is back on sale with the discount code ROYCEFAM20 for $255.86 w. free shipping.

Bike is in the M/L size range (top tube is 54cm, but seat tube is closer to what you'd see on a 56cm bike) and is well equipped with Sora 2x9 STI integrated levers, sora front derailleur, sora rear derailleur, shimano cable disc brakes/rotors, WTB alloy wheels (mine were tubeless compatible), WTB Nano 700x40c tires (mine weren't tubeless compatible), and a WTB volt saddle.

Only compromise components are smaller brands for the crankset (NECO), QR hubs (Quando) - not thru axle making an upgrade to a carbon frame difficult, generic handlebars/stem/headset, and an aluminum fork.

Assembly can and tuning take a bit of time as well if you aren't familiar with the process, and the handlebar aluminum is pretty slick so you'll need to watch your torque on your stem.

Hard to find a gravel bike this well spec'ed at this price range as I've put about 1000 miles on mine this summer.

Good for cyclists 5'10"-6'2" depending on your body geometry, but can extend an inch or two with a larger/shorter stem.

Finding actual details about this bike can be frustrating...

The "powerful disk brakes" are cable, not hydraulic (not a big deal for the price, just can't find it mentioned anywhere and EVERY single picture I've found is from wrong side to tell).
This is where I found a video of the cable brakes.

Limited discussions (Only 2 threads) of the bike on reddit (nothing negative I could find).

Just to be clear- this is like $30 off the normal price. Every time the deal comes up someone posts 'the parts alone are worth more. So either royce/huffy are selling at a loss or something else is going on. My experience with them is that everything not specifically mentioned is the most generic huffy part you can imagine. My bike came broken, had the cheapest tires I've ever seen and was an absolute brick in terms of weight. The factory had stripped all the bolts so badly I could fix anything. Took me 3 months to get a reply from their customer service. For this price there are worse bikes out there but don't buy thinking this bike ever sold at 1200 or that Royce are selling at a loss. This is a huffy bike with some reasonable parts added.
Shame on them for not including rd hanger on aluminum frame. Good bike for money otherwise

I've purchased a couple of these already. The size chart is not accurate in my opinion. This fits similar to a 56cm in other brands. I'm 5'11" and it fits me perfectly. The stem is long so a shorter stem and lower seat height could accommodate a slightly shorter rider until the standover height becomes an issue. The mechanical disc brakes definitely suck. Overall it's an awesome deal at this price. Definitely recommend.

This should be a great commuter bike. It is not a " road race" bike, but in my book this is an advantage (more relaxed riding position, more stable character, wider tires provide notable cushion).

Thank you for the heads up, I was about to pick one up until I saw this! I've ruined an aluminum frame without a hanger in the past, not going to make that mistake again.

This looks like it would be better than the Giordano Trieste?

The WTB nano tires are 40mm wide but knobby. Knobby tires have a higher rolling residence than slicks (extra 10w/tire vs a common slick) but you can run them at a lower PSI for more comfort. Fork is aluminum so it doesn't absorb chatter as well as a carbon fork. I'm maybe 1.5mph slower on this than my racing road bike (w. slick 28mm tires) for the same level of effort.

Wow this is a steal. The shifters alone are probably 250.
