Edit: AT&T chat is closed on the weekend I called reseller support and they refused to cancel the line and said I had to wait 30 days. I had to port out to another carrier.- Call *PORT on the new iPhone to get a porting pin. You also need your wireless account number (displayed when you login to att.com).

- We haven't found a way to unlock the iPhone 14/15 like we did the 13 because it has an eSIM assigned that gets activated on boot, and no physical SIM card. Also the phones are showing Verizon locked and not flex reseller policy. It will automatically unlock 60 days post activation however.

ATT policy is phone is fully paid off, not stolen and the number assigned to the phone have to has at least 60 days active in ATT network. So here is the confusion come from and i cant even get the answer after so many cs rep. they told me the phone has to be on ATT network which mean turn on and receiving data for 60 days, then they can unlock it for me. Then someone said why don't i borrow my friend ATT sim card, put it in my phone and he request unlock. That i haven't try yet. but rest assure this promotion for Iphone 14 and up so you will have to call ATT rep to activate eSim for you. I'm not sure about Android, so if android still use physical sim card maybe you can use the sim swap trick.

Example
You do upgrade on all 3 line, get 3 new iphone 14 256gb $779 + tax.
Break down to 36 months that's $21.63 per month extra you have to pay for each line and you pocket $350 Walmart gift card.
For the one without trade-in, it look like a lot for a monthly payment but if you pay all the installment upfront $779 - $350 , so your iPhone 14 actually cost $429 + Tax.
If you do trade in
iPhone 15 pro 256gb $1049 -$830 ( credit from trade in iPhone 11 Pro and above) = $219 + tax.
Break down to monthly it's $6.09 extra per each month you have to pay per line. And you pocket $300 Walmart gift card

so let say you buy iPhone 14 plus $779. you buy with VZ, then pay it off. cancel the line within 3 days. you keep the phone that you pay $779 plus $500 GC. so total you pay $779 - $500 = $279
