The person I was replying to specifically had said they had recently been considering whether a super automatic was worth it. I wanted to add some detail for him as a recent purchaser. I never suggested anyone looking at this deal broadly should instead get a $500+ machine, and I agree that would be stupid. I'm disappointed you took my comment so uncharitably.
"I'm disappointed you took my comment so uncharitably" is probably the most useful and applicable sign-off for helpful SDers. I'm probably going to steal that. As someone who was lurking and lusting after super automatic machines, but had no clue there was an option in the $500 range, I really appreciated your comment. Thanks for taking the time and trying.

This is to make expresso shots. You can then add milk to make a latte. But no, no regular coffee.
Well they can just add some water for an Americano

It's funny because I did want to get that air fryer and I also saw the ninja 8 in 1 one, I was looking for a reason to buy the ninja and the new post of the air fryer people commenting the air fryer is junk so I got the ninja, I prefer ninja brand anyways. I don't need this but people need to do some research about this brand before spending money on it. Not saying this one is junk but to save you the headache better check
I wanted a food dehydrator and a new toaster oven. Been checking Amazon food dehydrator since Sept but don't want to spend $100+ on one since I don't use it often enough or get those small plastic one. And wanting to replace my toaster oven, mine is many years old now. $50 ( for dehydrator/ toaster/ air fry in one machine ) even if it don't last, I won't feel that much pain.

You're very welcome! That was entirely the point of my comment - I also until I saw the deal a month ago or whatever thought they were still around $1000 or more. Glad it helped!

This sounds like it will break after 1 use.
Oh, does it "sound" like that?

BOTH PRODUCTS have 21 5 star reviews written on the 15th and the 16th. Some of them worded like fake reviews. I'm staying far from this. Seems like a shady company. Also, you cannot find either of these product models anywhere else but Walmart.

Ordered the expresso machine + 2 year extended warranty through a cash back website with 10% cb. And then used Chase Freedom through PayPal to pay for it, with another 5% cb from Chase.
Final cost: 50 - 5 cb - 3 cb = 42 + 6 dollar extended warranty =48 + tax.

Not bad at all.
Yep. CB was 12 for me and got 4% discover and a 2 year as well just in case.

elaborate please? I think of it as a basically an upgrade to a Moka Pot, do I consider it a full fledge $500+ real espresson/latte machine? Definitly not, but for $50, give or take a few toxic plastic chemicals its aiight.
It's without a doubt not an upgrade to your moka pot. A proper moka pot + recipe will get you an excellent drink almost every single time you brew... and it's cheap and easy to use.

However, with this bottom of the barrel espresso machine, you will get most likely terrible tasting shots, they will be inconsistent so nearly impossible to dial in, it'll be a pain to clean, and it will undoubtably break or you'll throw it out within 2 years because of all of the above.

Save the $50 towards something better.

Thanks OP! Took a leap of faith and ordered one. $55 for an espresso machine is amazing. Even if it lasts 6 months, i think it will be worth the $

All pure speculation.
