Costco website shows this as model A515-57-598B. Acer's Lifecycle Extension Guide for A515-57 shows you can upgrade/replace both RAM (two SODIMM slots) and SSD (two M.2 slots). Couldn't find specs about speeds or limits in Acer's docs, but according to LaptopMedia's A515-57 teardown/review:

However that same review's specs section lists RAM as "up to 64GB". Not sure which is correct, but their teardown at least confirms the slots are there, and even the lower 32GB limit should be good enough for most users in a laptop of this grade.

It does look like there are some incorrect specs in Costco's listing:

Costco's images show a fingerprint reader on the trackpad, but Acer's A515-57-598B specs say there is no fingerprint reader and they don't show one in their images.
Costco lists "Backlit Keyboard and 1080p Webcam" in the Features at the top of the page, then lists "Backlit Keyboard" in the Product Details and the Specifications sections. However Acer specs say this model does not have a backlit keyboard, and one review on Costco's site confirms the laptop they received didn't have a backlit keyboard.
Related to the other half of the previous point, Costco says "Backlit Keyboard and 1080p Webcam" in the Features section at the top, then lists "Integrated HD Webcam (1280 x 720)" in the Product Details. Acer doesn't list the camera specs so not sure which is correct.

The CPU of this Acer is better in multicore benchmarks. You can do a comparison of the 2 CPUs in nanoreview website. For this Acer you lost 8G RAM but it only costs <$20 to remedy. This one has USB-C charging which the Dell doesn't have.

I was in the same position debating between the Acer and Dell and I chose the Acer because of the CPU and Costco return/warranty policy.
