Is it a great game, for $5 for SWITCH though. I really want to play it before the sequel launches but I worry the Switch version might be lacking.

I haven't played this on any other systems, but it worked just fine for me on the Switch. The load screens weren't terrible, but everytime you 'save' it connects to the server, which adds a good 30-60 second wait time.

I would just use those times as mandatory breaks to get drink, food, pee, etc.

Absolutely worth $5. And I'm a Scrooge about buying games on sale.

You can play in 'offline' mode, which makes the saving much faster, but doesn't allow other people playing Dogma on the same system to 'hire' your pawn (2nd fighter) in your party.

I typically just flip back out of 'offline play' when I'm done playing locally, so it saves the experience and changes I've made to my 'hireable pawn'. You can hire other players pawns in the game as well, so that you can have a mixed variety of fighters up to a party of 4.

I have a nephew, which Ace Attorney games would you guys/gals suggest? I think he'd get a kick out of the series and likes detective shows thanks to Batman lol. TIA, repp for help!

I love the original trilogy and think it's a great place to start! I did like the AA Chronicles as well, but it did have some newer/updated elements to it, and maybe it just didn't feel as novel as the first few Phoenix Wright games I played and fell in love with. Still enjoyed all of them (and you can get all for $20 which is a great price!)

It's well worth picking up for 5$. My only complaint is that the text is small and difficult to read in hand-held mode.

I've completed the game on ps3 on launch, PC, and switch and honestly thought it ran great on switch. The text is a little small, overall a great experience and really nice to have handheld!
