Yep was looking at refurbished too but unfortunately, this is for a Christmas gift so need to buy new. I can't afford to deal with the ramification if there were hair found in the refurbished items when they open the Christmas gift. in my case it's $100 extra for mental insurance.

so these constantly go for refurb on woot for anwhere between $320-$380. I personally bought one for $322 a month ago and it came as good as new, you couldnt tell the difference.

My wife bought it from Sephora because it had more attachments like the brush. My wife loves the hair dryer. She uses that every day.

This is the 2nd time she purchased a Dyson Airwrap. She bought one on release and returned it because it just wasn't great for her hair because the curls weren't holding.

She bought one recently since they introduced all the attachments and she ended up returning it also the other day for the same reasons.

This thing doesn't hold curls welI. I would advise you against buying this. It dries ok and but like the other attachments were average. My wife mentioned that she had to use more heat from the Airwrap vs her hair dryer. It also doesn't save any additional time. It actually ended up drying her hair out more. Its like the jack of all trades but master of none type of scenario.
