These are lighter, less bulky but not as cushioned as the Nimbus. The Nimbus is ASICS max cushioned running shoe - designed for slower, easy runs. This is more of a daily trainer, something that can do it all - from easy runs to some faster paces. The cushioning is very good - one of the best out of the daily trainers out there, just not a soft or cushioned as the Nimbus. I do think that it is a good complement to the Nimbus though - use these for the speed work / tempo runs, and switch to the Nimbus for the recovery runs.

Great price for a great daily trainer. one of the best shoes of 2023 for sure.

That being said, i think this will be a common price - and maybe even lower as the Novablast 4 will officially go on sale on Dec 1st.

Thanks all - picked up a pair for my 5k fast days. Great deal for $75 as lowest price elsewhere is around $99. Also got a pair of black 5" race shorts for $18! Awesome - early Christmas for me. Thanks all and happy shopping!

These are primarily running shoes correct? Not really good for regular comfortable walking around shoes with good arch support and cushioning?

I use these for work (healthcare) and it's one of the few shoes I have absolutely no complaints about. Great amount of cushioning with a surprising amount of bounce/spring to your step. Neutral arches, though. For reference, I've used multiple varieties of ultra boost, Gel nimbus 23, and Clove shoes. Novablasts work the best for me. Haven't used them for running, though

I got Nimbus this year for the first time. As someone with Flat Feet I miss my Kayanos. I see these are Neutral so not for me. Just adding in case anyone with Flat feet is considering these. The Kayano 29's are the same price right now.

I bought Novablast 2 for running and stopped running due to my knees. I wear them for walking and they are cushioning and comfortable. I bought the Novablast 3 at this price without hesitating.

I have tried a lot of running shoes this past year from pretty much all brands. I find myself reaching for these more than any other as my daily runner. Definitely upgrade the insoles though. They are pretty true to size, with maybe a little extra length. The fabric is comfy and allows feet to swell if you take them on longer runs. I also tried the 2's, but sent them back, the 3 was much better.

Have heard great things about these and curious to try them. If I didn't just buy a few other pairs of running shoes right now (and weren't on a doctor-ordered knee rest to heal up đŸ™„ we'll see if that lasts), I'd be snapping these up. I think I'll wait and hope this price sticks around for when my $20 off coupon from previous ASICS purchases goes live on Dec 23.
