The battle.net Black Friday sale has kicked off. These are the lowest ever prices for the PC versions of Diablo 4 / IV.

Standard Edition $41.99 (regular $69.99)
Digital Deluxe Edition $53.99 (regular $89.99)
Ultimate Edition $59.99 (regular $99.99)

Anyone wanting to buy this game will find this deal worthy of a thumb up, especially since it's $12.50 below the previous sale price of $54.59. But please don't thumb down the deal just because you don't like the game... that's not what slickdeals is about.

No it's hot garbage. The game is mediocre, but what's worse is the blatant push for expensive cosmetics instead of improvements to the game and pushed VERY HARD with alerts all the time about new shop stuff.

It's sort of like they tried to make a better d2, but used fortnite shop as the base game and added d3 from launch to it. I am quite upset I spent the money and time on this but hope this posts helps others(I played beta through s1 for reference)

D4 is in a much better place than it was at launch. Is it a great game? No. Can it be? Yes.

It's still experiencing the snowball effect from shitty activision development. But it's getting better every patch. D2 didn't soar until LOD and to a much lesser extent neither did D3 til ROS. D4 has amazing potential.

For those of you saying s2 is much better, is it? But for real is it though? Cause from my experience I spend 30 minutes doing what my friends and looked like everyone else was doing to just burst to level 40(30 mins) and have leggos drop all over to the point I wasted half that time selling/salvaging.

All they did was overpower the chars more and boost leveling. They put more effort on their in game store cosmetics weekly then the effort for the whole season.

I'm a huge fan of blizzard, since d1 even now I still play starcraft/wc3/ow2/d2r/hots/and randomly others....but d4 promised so much and gave so little. I told everyone how great it will be and now...I feel stupid for thinking they would put gameplay over microtransactions.

Wow. I agree with all that. I was a schmuck and bought the ultimate edition (or whatever that had the mount and season content). Since I spent countless hours on D1/2/3, made sense I would like this one. Played the betas for D4 and really liked them. Got to like lvl 70 after a few weeks and was bored and the game felt like work. Decided to uninstall and come back in a year to see how much it improved. Agree with some others about D3 not being great at launch, but I still played that for years.

A short break after D4 and Starfield came out. Was waiting on that for quite a while. This time I learned my lesson and got a 3 month PC game pass for $5. Loved how it was similar to Fallout. A month in and my experience was as you described. Uninstalled it as well.

Perhaps it's time to look through my library of free Epic games. Smilie

Lol well after my two "quits" I hope I'm done. Played it mostly during vanilla/tbc/wrath, but now it just takes up too much time.

False advertisement, there is no Diablo in this so called, "Diablo" game. The real Blizzard died a long time ago. Now there's only corporate, money hungry overlords using their whips on hard working developers that have no clue at making a true Diablo game. This should've been the launch price. Half that amount should be the Black Friday price and that's being fair.

This game gets ultra repetitive unfortunately I know we want alot of game play open world etc. But if all the dungeons are the same exact reskins etc there's no point. I rather have some linearity like d3. Also no matchmaking at all. If you don't know people with this game, don't expect to experience multi-player whereas d3 you can just jump into match etc.

Bought this game at full price on launch. Regret it.
Half-baked product. Glitchy, buggy, and not fun at all.
After playing D4 for two months, decided to jump back to Path of Exile. What a breath of fresh air, and can't beat the price for Path of Exile any given day.
Shame on you Blizzard.

Diablo II Resurrected is also on sale for about $13. IMO, it is a much better deal than Diablo IV.

They made playing this multiplayer game very lonely like they don't even trust players to chat in a game lobby about quests and pvp

Why would they... Immortal is a f2p mobile game. Sure you can play it on PC, but it was designed for mobile first.
