Bought this in January of 2022 for ~$400, has been ok, definitely 60hz as mentioned and will crash intermittently unlike owned Toshiba, LG and Samsung. One of the dimmest televisions I have ever owned, would only recommend for a room with blackout curtains or nighttime viewing.

Pretty dang good deal for a budget 70" 4K TV. In my own experience, I've had a Westinghouse 42" 4K TV for about three years and I haven't had any issues with it other than rare app slowness, which a quick restart fixes. I love the Roku TV interface as well.

Unfortunately the Westinghouse website says 60hz in the specs. I doubt Westinghouse makes a 120hz panel but that would be a crazy deal at $300. The target specs are most likely inaccurate.

Has anyone else picked up the TV yet? I will be renting a van to pick it up, so was hoping that folks here would be able to provide some first reactions once they've set it up, please.

Not expecting the world for such a low-price, but am interested in whether the picture is good, how the brightness is, etc.

Thank you

This tv is amazing for the size and price. Idk what people are talking about saying it isn't bright. Just how bright do you want it? - Trying to burn your retinas out or something? I purchased a Westinghouse 37" my first HDTV back in 2007 for $600, and it still works great. I understand the tv is cheap but don't listen to these tv snobs, this is a great buy. And if you have a red card, an even better buy.

Real fool to believe a budget brand has consistent quality throughout different TV models and years. Unless you have actually bought this TV and used it, your assumptions are just wild assumptions. Even well known brands like Samsung use different panels on the exact same TV model on the budget side. It's called panel lottery. At 70" you won't have to guess though. There is likely only one bad panel to choose from. The cost of the backlight for something this large is going to suffer. That's why it's dim. You can't compare it to smaller models.

Grand Cherokee it fit in perfect. That's probably as small as I would go. Compact SUV its not going to fit. Someone tried with a Mercedes and a full size Audi. If you come with something that size you probably are going to have to take it out of the box.

it is 120hz on 1080p just tried it with my xbox series

It's a 4K tv. Anyone asking is asking does the tv run native 120hz. If they're asking if it'll run 120hz and a lower resolution then lmao.
I'd much rather get 4k/60 out of a tv this size or anywhere near vs 1080 to get 120hz. 60 is plenty smooth to play single player games. If you're wanting to run 120 for any shooter games, you shouldn't be playing on a 70" tv. Plenty of good and cheap 27" 1440 monitors that pair perfect with the Xbox/ps5

I just picked it up yesterday and it's not dim. $310 after tax and all you can't beat it.

For those who have mentioned the 65" TCL on sale tomorrow at Walmart, do they typically not show available stock until the item goes on sale? I'm asking because right now, that tv is showing as unavailable for shipping or delivery and out of stock for pickup everywhere within 50 miles of me. (So, if I wanted to buy it full price right now, I couldn't.) Would be helpful to know if the availability will change tomorrow when it goes on sale.

Good build quality considering the price, Roku OS is quick, and the display seems bright to me for a bright room. The remote does not have the microphone or headphone jack, if that matters. Sound quality is 'fine', but I connected a spare soundbar and now everything seems great.

I would say, definitely a good TV for the average person that doesn't care about specs, but at least wants a 4K level TV (think spare living room, etc). If I want to do PS5 level stuff, I'll just play it on my Sony 4K TV in the other room.

This is likely a piece of crap for your main viewing pleasure, but would be ok for a workout room or something like that.

Check your target circle offers. I had a "20% off a single item with pickup" (valid till 11/22) that stacks with this, so another $60 off.
Does the 20% off show up in an email? I don't see it in the circle offers on the website

I had this as well. $257 after tax and they already pulled it for pick up. What a steal.
Where do you add that offer? In the cart?
