Headline of BF/CM deal. 3 pack of latest gen (1200 lumen) white and color BR30 bulbs from Philips directly. Unit cost of $30 is why I posted this, compared to usually $50 each ($55 MSRP).

This is the cheapest i've seen on the BR30 color. I bought mine for $50 refurb on Ebay back in 2016 and is still working fine. So this is a steal!
Technically the cheapest SD has seen was when Home Depot did their clearance specials of 2x BR30 + Hub for $30… but that was an insane deal.

You can use a zigbee stick to do so but a lot of the pros of Hue is the software which you will be missing out on. Things like scenes are great to have and while you can mimic it on your own in home assistant, it's much easier to set it up via the Hue app.

Nope. Will work in HA without a hue hub. I use mine with Z2M and a sonoff dongle.
Home Depot was limited availability and YMMV, definitely was not available at my local HD's in TN.
Phillips is not YMMV, available now and returnable within 30 days.
Picked up a HUE dimmer and push button switch, great deals for 20/ea with purchase of 2.
