But the Xfinity offers have evolved too (mostly not for good). They use to have $200 offer for BYOD, which has become less lucrative (just $100 instead of $200).
So, keep your fingers crossed (unless you have a friend on the insight who can warn you.. lol)

Done it a number of times so far. The trick is to keep the device on any active service line; make sure that the billing shows the credits being allotted to that line and cancelling AFTER.
