I would like to gift the iPhone to someone outside the country. I am happy to serve the two year commitment and continue the billing with device credita but would like to unlock the device ahead of time (after couple months of activation or so). Will Xfinity do that for me if I request? Is there any other trick to unlock the phone?

I am looking for some deal on Xfinity existing users from the last 2-3 years.
New Users, they provide deals only to new Users but no deals to upgrade for existing users, very disappointing.

Anyone have experience with Xfinity mobile reception in Michigan and traveling to Canada? How much do they usually charge for data. I currently have t-mobile and everything included in my plan.

No. Xfinity will only unlock after the phone is paid off completely.

You can buy a global pass for international travel. Price varies depending on the locations.

I would assume so since they are both using the Verizon network. I used Visible in the past and I am currently on Xfinity, I did not notice any difference between the two. I live near Sacramento, so I cant speculate about other areas.
