Shame a few years ago they started making the dimensions on these much smaller. So if you have older ones, they won't be the same size just a heads up.

i think you could but of course, ymmv as the following is our experience.

we went to the store today, had dinner and afterwards went to pick up our on-line order. when we asked the cashier to apply the $40 off meal receipt from the $199 on-line order, she said that the $40 meal receipt can be applied to in-store purchases only. cashier offered to refund the on-line order so we can re-purchase it in-store and have the $40 meal receipt applied for a net price of $159Smilie

Its so hard for people to sell furniture they don't want that they end up practically giving it away on craigslist/facebook marketplace. I could never pay this for a piece of furniture.

What exactly be wrong with the black brown that is terrible? Not realistic wood looking? I am about to drive across town to buy one but cautious after reading the comments. How exactly to get the food credit from IKEA? Join the IKEA Club, then get some grub there and the receipt amount is the discount with max of forty dollas? Thank you!

Just FYI, went to Ikea yesterday in Costa Mesa. I didn't receive any discount on my receipt for in-store purchases when i purchased lunch/dinner around 3PM.
Also, only the Hemnes black/brown was on special. The other 2 colors were full price.

The food discount is only valid on Fridays until 12/22. For some reason they also exclude 12/8 and "IKEA Burbank, Carson, Costa Mesa, San Diego, and Covina locations."
