This is a solid price point for any 43" 4K set (there's a FP deal for a Toshiba at the same price at Best Buy) but this is QLED and sold by Costco.

I bought it a few weeks ago and I'm happy with it. Pretty good picture and sound. Works well as a monitor if you put it in game mode. Would recommend.

I don't own this TV but I can tell you from past experience at 3ft you are not going to have much of an issue compared to viewing up close on a desk. You may see some shift each corner but that's about it. I'd be more concerned about subpixel arrangement and motion blur. Most VA TVs use bgr instead of RGB and they also have poor response times close to black. Spending more is probably a better idea for a larger monitor unless this is going to just be a secondary media display.
I run 3 monitors now and I'm looking for something to replace my two secondary ones, it'll have discord, a browser or two, and YouTube or videos on it. Just random shit while I'm playing games.

I'm debating between this and the Toshiba c350(which is IPS, but not QLED) I'm married and this isn't even close to a need, so spending more isn't an option, it's buy something at around this size at around this price, or keep using my 10 year old 32 in Vizio and 4x3 monitor.

It looked nice in the store. As fate would have it there was an open box one for $125 packaged up like new that has the same 90 day return policy and 3 year manufacturer's warranty. I couldn't help myself but buy it figuring I'd kick myself later if I didn't. I haven't put it up yet.

120 vrr support, it says. At this price point HAS to be a typo. Getting one just to see if that's the case.

If it does support it, it won't be the only 60hz TV that does. The cheaper Samsung models can accept a 120hz input but they are still only 60hz TVs like this. 1 frame = 1hz, so it's useless accepting 120fps if the TV can only do 60hz.

Someone asked me about this TV in a private message instead of in the thread, so I'll post my response here.

Funny you should ask. I just hooked it up 30 minutes ago as a 2nd monitor and I'm looking at is I type now. This is the 43" TCL Q570F.

I think it looks good, and I haven't removed the film from the screen yet. One of the display setting options was "PC." Whether that sets it to Chroma 4:4:4 or not I don't know, but I'm not having any problems with the text; it seems pretty clear and sharp to me. I did set the HDMI cable setting to 2.0.

I ran some 4K OLED test videos through the PC HDMI connection and thought they looked pretty good. However, I am a TV/display noob so my judgment does not necessarily mean anything. The display seems nice and bright (though I'm 2.5 feet from it) and sharp and I'm wondering if this might be an IPS panel. I'm not sitting directly in the center of it, and it seems to have a weird optical illusion of the screen being curved with it trailing off and bending away from me on the sides even though we know it's flat.

The feet are not the greatest, just the standard cheap feet. If I decide to keep it I'll probably buy a tabletop mounting stand with a swivel ability. Right now I have it sitting on a 6 ft long folding table and I need to get it higher up.

What is the typical Costco price for this TV? The other BF TVs seem to be only $10 or $20 off their normal prices.

I've been keeping my eyes on 43" TVs at Costco for about 3 years with the intention of getting one for a monitor and generally they'd want about $230 for the cheapest one (Hisense normally) and that would be for a regular non-QLED. But this one has the QLED screen. As far as I know it does not have full array backlighting and instead has edge lighting, so it's the lowest level type of QLED you could find. I think it looks great, but my not being a TV expert makes my opinion meaningless. I think it's a good deal for $190 if you want a 43"; you won't find a QLED for less than that. If you can find an open box that seems brand new for $125 like I did, it's a no brainer.

I have no idea; I haven't connected it to the Internet (directly as a TV) since I'm paranoid about being spied on and don't want all of my private computer screens shared with whoever spies on these TVs. I generally recommend that anyone who's interested in using the streaming functions just purchase a separate dedicated streaming device.

Just a quick update as this deal seems to still available.
I bought it even with my expired costco membership (paid extra 10 dollars), and setup it as a PC monitor, this thing ROCKS!!
Plugged to HDMI1, changed to game mode + ultra high resolution + HDMI 2.0. The definition and color as SOOO good, much better than the old 4kTv I had before
If you want a big monitor just get it!

How bad does the picture get when looking at it on an angle?

I seat between 2.5 to 3 feet away, images and text are perfect clear! However if I approach (less than 1.5 feet) the text far away from my eyes (like on the edges) gets a bit difficult to read. Anyway, 1.5foot is too close for 43 inch monitor

So, is it safe to assume that if you have the HDMI set to 2.0 and choose "Game Mode" that Chroma 4:4:4 still works? (I think I read a negative comment somewhere saying that it did now work when set to game mode.)

What does the "Ultra High Resolution" setting do? Shouldn't it have a native 4K resolution regardless of a setting like that?
