Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
My best guess is they are thinking more an Auro setup, position makes sense.
Klipsch description for on wall use for the 502s states:
"The Klipsch RP-502S II Surround Speakers can also be utilized as an on-wall elevation or surround speaker via its easy-to-use keyhole mounting system - delivering the perfect angle for enhanced sound effects".
Another suggestion I would strongly recommend.
See if there are local custom installers that you can hire them for like 1 hour consultation.
Imo very well worth the cost.
I've heard of auro3d and maybe its the future with the voice of god channel but all the reviews I see on YouTube focus mostly on Dolby/DTS setups so I thought it is less popular.

I am finding that this would get more traction if it was from an SD staff with affiliate links.
when you post a deal on SD, the SD editors will automatically insert the SD affiliate link into the product web address so they get credit for any sales. this is why you see so many posts from editors with their preferred vendors, so they make as much money as they can.
if you post something with a different affiliate link that SD does not use, you will not be able to get that deal. SD is only interested in posting "fake deals" that make them more money, just because you saw it on SD, does not mean it is a good deal or that there are not better deals on the same item.
if this same deal was posted by an SD editor, it would have been promoted to front page status by now. they heavily bias the front page for items they make the most money on.

Yea I agree it isn't.
Having experience with both I don't think the layout works as well in the average home & isn't as detailed with immersive surround.
Can come in handy with non Atmos content.
BTW was that diagram submitted by you or did they suggest that layout?

You provide the info like room size. How many speakers. How many chairs and layout etc. It spits out not only that image but exact measurements where to place seating and speakers. It helps you think about things you might not typically think about like how high should the riser be and projector placement so you get HDR. Also how big should your screen be so it's big but not too big. Pretty handy service that follows specs and gives a pretty rough estimate.
Here the audio companies are fronting kids who act like they know but know nothing or they want some purchase agreement for paramount or focal $40k theater setup that is out of my budget.

Yes, I know how they work, it can be handy.
I didn't know if you contacted them afterwards or not which you can.
lol sounds like you're talking about BB/Magnolia, I definitely wouldn't include them in that suggestion!
Yes, anyone claiming that they can tell you what will sound good/better to you should be a big red flag, even in person imo.
Especially when you add the variable on the worth of it, which makes it exponentially more complicated imo.
Sorry you don't have much local help, this can be very confusing & complicated.

I agree these prices aren't good. I already have a pair of 8000f and 504c. It would be nice to pick-up a 502s and 500sa for the theater room I'm building but not at these increased old stock prices.
I'm going to message them and see if there is better pricing. I've bought from them in the past.

Purchased the rp-8000f and rp-504c from these links and Amazon rather than adorama
