They have been 299 shipped no tax on shopmyexchange for the last couple weeks. Yes I know limited people can purchase but that's been the lowest.

Agree with the better all around comment above, along with the battery probably is starting to show its age a bit. That with needing to fix the screen probably means the better long term value is with buying a new one.

Be sure to check your AMEX offer for Best Buy "Spend $250 or more, get $25 back." I had it on one of my cards so was able to use it on this purchase.

Actually the 9th gen at $249.99 ... with tax its over $250 .. will that qualify for the $25 amex offer? Or does it need to be $250 before tax?

Amex offers are based on the total amount charged to your card so if tax puts it over $250, then you satisfy the terms of the offer.

Ok so then we are really talking 9th gen for $225 vs 10th gen for $325. Still $100 difference I guess. What's everyone's take? Still go with 10th gen?
