The Chase Prime Visa is literally one of the most PREDATORY, borderline ILLEGAL cards in the entire credit card industry.

Charge $1000 on this card, pay off $900. You should only be charged interest on $100, but the interest is for the full $1000. Yeah, GTFO. Show me any other charge card that does this.

People make mistakes with auto-pay. Sometimes despite one's best efforts or a family medical emergency, you miss paying off the full balance one month. I get this card has no annual fee and Chase has to make their profits somehow, but this is legit the most predatory way to do it. Zero-forgiveness in this card, so if you do sign up, make sure you never under any circumstance miss the full payment, even by missing one cent or by one day.

I'd rather carry Chase Freedom Flex + Discover IT cards (both with no annual fee), take advantage of staggered 5% cashback on all Amazon purchases for two quarters of a calendar year (including this holiday quarter), and just not deal with the BS.

A lot of you out there are chasing a $200 gift card carrot, but the 100% accrued balance interest penalty stick may hit you back a lot harder in the long run...
Declined with an over 800 credit score.

Damn, declined me with an 803. 2 chase cards with low balance high limit in current use. Not gonna lie I'm a little butt hurt. And the $200 could've been really helpful for the holidays.

Just a warning to folks, if you don't pay off the entire balance of this card each month you are charged interest on the entire accrued balance for that period plus the grace period. If you read reviews on this card it's one of the most predatory out there.

Do the pre-qual first. It told me I need to remove my credit freeze. No impact on my score.

Honestly I'd have to be a chump to ever not pay off a credit card in full every month in the first place.

Most of us try to swear by that rule, but mistakes and life events do happen. Doesn't feel legally right for any credit card company to charge you interest for the portion of the balance you already paid off. I hope no one loses a job, goes through a break-up, loses a loved one, etc, that leads to missing a full payment under dire circumstances. The terms on this card are just awful, and that's undeniable. I've never heard of any other card that does this.

Thank you!!! My pre approval told me no but I applied anyway. Approved $15,000 limit and $200 was added immediately to my account. Won't use the card but here an there to keep open but $200 is helpful for Christmas!

If you don't continue your Amazon Prime membership, your card will be downgraded to non-prime Visa. You will earn 3% cashback on Amazon and Wholefood purchases instead of 5%. No annual fee.

So, I applied using the link and I was approved and also received 200$ gc. I am on prime trial. I have a question now - what happens if I don't continue my prime after trial? Will I be charged an annual fee? I understand that I won't be getting 5% bonuses after that. Will appreciate some insight.

I was pre-approved but I am nervous to apply now. I pay off my credit card balance every few days.

The best benefit I'd want from any of these credit cards w/ Amazon branding by Chase is free shipping on Amazon.com

Gonna cost you $400+ to see my credit score. Between all the business and non-business offers, there's plenty to churn that pays much better.
