Bought through Dell recently with the $200 promo card offer. Happy with the monitor so far. Easy to set up and better build quality than previous LGs. Received the promo card the day after monitor was delivered.
This is a good price and a new low on Amazon. Dell offer still beats it if you can take advantage of AMEX or other credit card YMMV offers, cashback through popular sites, and can use the $200 promo card plus $24 in Dell rewards (ideally on items Dell is having a sale on). That effectively brought my cost down on this monitor to <$350 pre-tax.
Coming from a 34" LG 1800R IPS, which I thought was a great size & curvature for work, I'm glad I went up to 38". It's comfortably & conveniently bigger. The slightly lower curvature (2300R) is not that noticeable.
I've only used this monitor for about 10 days. Plan to use more starting next week. So far, I like this monitor, and it feels the eye strain (which can be subjective) is similar or better compared to my old monitor.
