yes all the good stuff was gone before the op's post even hit... it just goes to prove that SD is not the place it used to be - it used to be on the absolute cutting edge of time forefront when major sales events occur especially on a major retailers website like Amazon and when things like this happen you would know about it from the first minute but not anymore. what this website is now is a hoarders Paradise where selfish people first pick the carcass before posting on SD about it. that's exactly what happened here there's no question about it. again, SD is not the site it used to be this as this would never happen in the good old days.

That's a shame as I had the option of looking for something decent when the deal was first posted.

However, I assumed it would be relatively crappy like usual for these Amazon brand sales so I wasn't in a rush to search for deals. Glad a few got some great bargains; I'll be more proactive and less dismissive of these Amazon clearance events in the future.

indeed

this was only ever a 'up to 75%' deal.

sweeter than previous iterations, hence it's going a bit faster. it was nine pages when i posted it, now seven. the four dollar stud finder went pretty fast.

Not gonna lie, you speak facts. But back in the day this place was WAY different Best Buy employees used to post bootleg best buy ads, etc.... Now it is a for profit business and all the good stuff is gone and there are a million rules, etc. I'm sure they need the rules for general public that uses this now and for all the stores that pay for their items to be posted here (but with rules that benefit them of course), so it makes sense. Back in the day a FP deal was a $4000 plasma for $1200, etc. Smilie There are a small few other not-so-well known deal sites out there if you know where to look. No, I'm not saying where otherwise it will become this. Stick Out Tongue
