Go with Samsung 990 Pro if you intend to encrypt your drive with Windows BitLocker as it supports hardware encryption, SN850X does not:

this feels overpriced compared to the recent sale from Samsung EPP/AAA for $200 plus 15-20% Chase CB offers on a 4TB 990 Pro.

Is this the lowest price for a 4tb?
I paid $259 last month and $299 earlier this year, so $229 is an excellent price.

2TB is $150+. I paid $160 earlier this year. I guess $150 is the new "BF" low.

8 TBs will be rolling out more frequently in the near future. Be ready to see them at this price in a couple or three years. blows my mind just to think that will be the next norm.

Is it possible to heatsink this if you're putting it into a PS5? I looks like there is no direct contact to the modules for heat dissipation.
