Connects to app, but refuses to update firmware. Can't connect to U100 locks. Error messages in Chinese symbols. Sending this back along with locks, it's junk. Too many red flags. I'm an IT pro by trade and if I can't get this to work, how are you? Something so simples shouldn't be hard

Is this true? been stalking aqara for a while since they have switches that do not require neutral

Not sure why TD'd either - a couple "not good price" and a "not a good product". The price is the lowest I've ever seen, so not sure why those TDs. "Not a good product" is subjective I suppose.

I have this hub and 25 devices connected to it with no issues - mostly door/window sensors, a handful of "no neutral" on/offs, and a couple motion sensors. I use the door/window sensors to automate closet light on/off, and use the "no neutral" on/off switches in a number of switch boxes in my 60+ year old house where no neutral is present - closets, basement light switch, and a floodlight switch.

The door/window sensors are on all my exterior doors as well, and trigger exterior lights to turn on if any exterior door is opened after dark/overnight.

No issues with firmware updates, but I don't have U100 locks so I can't comment on those.

Are all your devices aqara? Or does it support other no name brand zwave or zigbee devices?

Yes all my devices are Aqara.

I also have Home Assistant set up, and it recognizes them all, although the majority of my automations are either in the Aqara app or are Alexa routines (the "big" Echo has a built in Zigbee hub so will integrate the Aqara devices in to Alexa routines).

I do have one routine in Home Assistant that uses an Aqara motion sensor in one of our bathrooms to trigger a Lutron Caseta dimmer to turn on the bathroom lights in "nightlight" mode when using the bathroom overnight.

Did you buy your aqara devices via Ali express??? Seems like they are there and cheaper to buy more

Trying to find which seller would be legit since it's hard to tell if fake or legit
