Bitdefender once quarantined my whole OS. So yes, I guess $23 for an AV that acts like a virus is a good deal.

Yes it stacks if it's the same kind that you already have and yes you will have to call to get them to stack it I always always always have. No matter what I do it ends up showing two different subscriptions and I have to call tell them where I brought them from and then they add them together.

Please explain how it "quarantined your whole OS".

I have had two subscriptions, one home one business, for like a decade now have never had to call them regarding stacking. I log into my account add the code that was emailed to me from Newegg , Best buy or whoever and it automatically is applied (stacked) to my current subscription.

I hate this AV with all my heart. This is the worst I have used yet. Blocks driver updates, blocks any scripts unless you exclude or turn the features off. this even blocks updates from my Acer laptop apps.

I am going to wait until my 2 years are up a d use something different

Meh, Bitdefender Premium Security is better because that includes their VPN and password manager.

You would go back to using a product that did the opposite of what it said after a period of time? You wouldn't warn people about a bad experience you had with said product?

I've used several A/V products over the last decades and at some point almost all of them had problems. That doesn't mean that the problems weren't fixed, and the issue hasn't reoccurred. At some points Windows has had similar problems where it simply wouldn't boot and had to be reinstalled, yet here we are with Windows still being a dominant OS (and still used by people who had that problem so many years ago.)

If you want to limit your options based on ancient history, that's your choice. I've had no problem with BD in the past 8 years.

Nothing wrong with providing positive feedback any more than there is with providing negative feedback. I am not going to call you out for your experience, but I am going to call a company out for my experience. Does that sound fair enough?
