Here's what won't work. If you have an extended grid outage and the battery fully depletes, when the grid comes back up the AC outlets will NOT turn on automatically. You'd have to be nearby physically to turn on the AC output. Your connected devices will not come back online if this is in a remote cabin for example. Some of the higher end Ecoflows have the AC always on feature though…

This used to be true, but at least on the Max, there is a feature in newer firmware to always keep the AC outlets on, even if the battery is fully depleted.

This is not true, I have this unit and they fixed this issue in an experimental update

I already acknowledged earlier that the feature was released in the latest firmware update even for the older River Pro. Good to see Ecoflow still adding new features to the River series

The $50 off coupon does work for me, but amazon has the backpack bag for free. The net on the power station is $333. So if someone decides to return the bag (which is returnable, unlike the PS), it's the $333 plus tax.
