Load times are horrendous. A random encounter takes 30-45 seconds just to load the battle. Literally unplayable due to the load times. Played the demo and thought it was great; bought the game but couldn't deal with the excessive load times. Played this on the PS5, so if another version of this has the load times fixed, please let me know. I actually want to play the game.

This was free on Epic at some point so even though I would prefer to play it on Switch for convenience, I'll pass on this slick deal since I "own" it through Epic

The only problem I have with this logic is that PC offers mods and trainers, which makes games more fun.

Remnant From The Ashes is a good example of this. Totally new game experience for free on PC. And that game was by the way given out by Epic, twice

Paid $20 for this physical in the past because it's exactly my kind of game and couldn't play more than a few hours before moving it to my "well, if there's nothing else..." queue. The load times are brutal and there's a lot of lag. Digital might (?) alleviate that but not sure.

For $4 though, I'd probably risk it.

Caring about mods and trainers is a niche interest. Most people don't care.
