Deal History
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Also check Samsung's BF sale, especially with the EDU/EPP/Military discount program. Free storage upgrade is back on, as well as extra trade-in value. As an example, with the discount program + a $400 trade on my 3 year old S20 FE the Fold 5 512GB came down to $1050.

Looking for reviews on this phone right now, anybody own one?
It's awesome. Fastest phone I think Ive ever used. A step up from the fold 4 in quality. Honestly, it feels so much more solid and put together than the fold 4 that it makes me think I'll keep it for more than one cycle. It's not heavy and folds flat so it feels smaller than the previous one as well. An absolute pleasure to watch videos and play games on. Id much rather use it than any iPad I've ever owned. The only downside is the camera but it's a Samsung thing as the shutter speed is unbelievably slow and theres a ton of noise if there isn't perfect lighting.
One plus open is a lot better in every regard. And I have owned multiple galaxy fold as well as the pixel fold. Nothing compares to the one plus open, though with this price it is a little bit more at 1499. If you have work or student ID, comes down to $1425

Is One plus open top heavy (like S21U)? Also does the camera island makes the phone uncomfortable to hold?
I've read somewhere that this has a massive internal screen. Could be a massive deal.
Actually, I have the Fold4. I like it a lot. I don't think I'd be able to go back to a regular phone (one that doesn't have a massive internal screen, but may have a thesaurus).

- Gen 1 product
- No wireless charging
- IPX4 Rating ( Vs IPX8 on the Fold 5 )
- Questionable software updates ( historically )
- Chinese ( data mining product )
But yay!!.. IR blaster ftw! lol..

The other best buy deal is live again - 999 with activate now on Verizon, att or Google Fi. You can create a new Fi account and just pay for the first month.

If you have EPP account you can get it from Samsung.com. Cracked screen fold3 trade-in for $800. Just buy a cracked screen fold3 from eBay around $150, after trade-in the fold3 the price will be around $725 +$150=$825 for 512g , around $775 for 256g

Newer Samsung are trash. Once your charging mess up, you can only wirelessly charge.
Looks like a you problem. Used Note 5 for 4 years, Note 10+ 5g for 3 years, and now will be using my S23 ulta for 3 more years. So far, absolutely no problems. Weird, but my wife's iPhones have started to be glitchy in their 3rd year (we don't upgrade before 3 years).

How do you feel about the switch to the s23u from the note 10+? I'm debating switching with the bf deals and wondering if juice is worth the squeeze on the s23u.

Technically gen 3 product since the Open is just the Oppo Find N3, which is Oppo's 3rd foldable.
No wireless charging was a weird choice but at least it's super fast charging, which may affect battery longevity in the long run.
It's splash resistant but honestly you should keep any foldable away from water due to the hinge. The good thing is the Open has a very tight fold when closed so dust doesn't get into the inner screen while it sits in your pocket or wherever. The ZF5 you can still see light coming through when closed, so dust can still get into the inner screen.
The only previous OnePlus device I had was a 6T, which started at Android 9 and stopped at Android 11. They promised longer updates (4 yrs Android versions, 5 yrs security) for their new flagships, including the Open, but yes, I agree with how long they will actually support the phone with software updates is still up in the air. Just hoping they don't pull a Microsoft with their Surface Duos.
The moment you use any Android, you're already agreeing to data mining from Google, lol.
IR blaster is actually a very underrated feature. I use it for all of the TVs in my house and it's very convenient. I also like messing with public TVs if I can get the brands.
I could not stand the narrow screen of the ZF5. The crease is a bit less than previous gen Folds, but still prominent and I just couldn't get over how odd it looks. The Open's crease is barely noticeable and it's a marvel how they achieved that. So far I'm very happy with the Open. Really, the only thing I would say the ZF5 has over the Open completely is Dex.
More competition only benefits the consumers, so I don't understand why people make fun of non-Sammy devices/foldables. This, along with the Pixel Fold, will actually encourage Samsung to get off their lazy ass. They've been riding on the same design for the last 5 generations.

Overall, how is One plus open ergonomically?
