Hmmm. I would say your linked system would be a 'much better deal' if it had the 12GB 3060. But it has the 8GB version which is not a whole lot faster than the 3050, plus half the storage. IMO it's a proportionately better deal.

Because good deals don't all have to be clones of one another, budgets vary, as do hardware requirements and 'buy it now' specs. But I do agree the iBuyPowerPC is a much better deal for someone who wants to spend the extra $70. But why stop there? For only $70 more you can get a 4060. Only $70 more on top of that 32GB of ram. Only $70 more maybe a 4070? $70 past that an i7? What about an i9? When does it end?

Personally I'm glad this website doesn't just have a single deal in each category based on someone else's budget or yardstick...not like the internet ran out of space housing both deals. You seemed to have no trouble finding each.

Which one do you recommend as a starter PC(for Minecraft etc.) for my 8 year old. Thanks!

I second this question, is there any consensus on whats the better "deal" on Ablangs list? I also know that the answer is relative to ones needs, my needs are wanting to game in 1440p.
