Thank you. I checked Target, too. The blue one was $44.99, and I had a $10 off. We need a spare for the house.

Personally have never had one develop stick drift but I do not game as much as I used to and take good care of my stuff.
These develop drift through normal use. Taking care of them is irrelevant, lol.

How's the longevity with these?
The old 360 version was built like a tank but I've heard the "new" version has some durability issues...
I've been using by series x controller since release and have used the crap out of it. Other than the sticks wearing out, it works perfectly.

I don't think the xbox controllers have even close to the same failure rate as joy cons or the dual shock or w.e. they call it these days.

However, I've heard absolutely terrible things about the elite controller.. Best to buy a warranty with that one, or from Costco.

Would I be better off getting the last-gen (XB One) controller instead?

Never had an issue with any xbox remote. Wash your hands before using and stop blaming Microsoft for not taking care of your shi#.

Selecting the other colors on Amazon shows that the following controllers are also on sale for the same price:
  • Shock Blue
  • Electric Volt
  • Stormcloud Vapor
  • Deep Pink
  • Pulse Red
  • Stellar Shift ($39.99 USD / $43% off)

Have you ever filed the warranty claim for stick drift or any other issues with controllers? Wondering if it really is easy and timely. Thank you

I got same question. I break these every 9-12 months. A 3 yr coverage for mechanical failures would be nice if they do t try to weasel out

Remember your credit card probably adds 1 year of warranty, if not 2 (ie citi premier with +2 years)

I see so many comments complaining about drift etc.... the 3 year warranty is so cheap its a no brainer. I advise all my friends only buy controllers form wallmart or amazon and add the 3 year.

Not true in my experience tbh.. The controller I got 3+ years ago is still holding up and I play 8-10 hours a week. On the other hand, my clumsy friend needs a new one every 6 months and he plays way less lol
