EDIT: Something to consider.... I paid with Paypal and I was charged $23+. I'm not sure if its a problem with Paypal. My order history shows the coupons being applied to the order. I'll have to keep my eye on this.
But I just thought I'd weigh in w/my quick review. It's probably the best beard trimmer I've ever used. And I've used several over the past 20+ years.
I'm not a super huge fan of 'closed-up' rechargeable electronics such as this trimmer (to be clear: these are idiotically designed so that when the battery ultimately dies - and it WILL die one day - they expect you to just throw it in the garbage). Again, this is designed to supposedly be 'disposable', which is ridiculous.
That said, it's still my favorite beard trimmer. I wonder why they can't design this to be a 'hybrid' design like so many manufacturers of cordless (batt operated) tools, etc. has introduced to the market?
For example, I have a small Ryobi 3 speed fan that runs off their 18v batteries. BUT, it also can be plugged into an AC outlet! That's just genius,.IMHO.
Braun should emulate Ryobi's design. It's an absolutely 100% better design. Sorry for rambling. This is just my 2 cents. : )
