BTW GameStop eliminated POSA sale with gift cards this month so no buying Xbox PlayStation etc gift cards with GameStop gift cards
Only buy gamestop gift cards if u plan to use immediately. I was saving mine & they needed to b reactivated & miraculously had no $ on them when i called to reactivate. Will never buy another gamestop gift card. Between that & the pro points that they also don't reactivate, I lost at least $200.
Weird. Regular people buying things like milk and birthday cards are now a type of "crowd"? Oof.

This may be my fault guys, sorry lol.

It was my favorite loophole: buy $1000 worth of GS cards for 20% off (+CC rewards), then convert them to Apple money and buy new Apple products and services at the steepest discount possible.

If you're buying apple products from the apple store you're already getting ripped off lol. Most retailers give out heavier discount than apple. Amazon has the m1 MacBook on sale all the time for 749.99 and apple still has there priced at 899.99. You would think apple would try to compete but I'm guessing there have enough fanboys that exclusively buy through Apple that giving an actually discount would not be better for there bottom line. You also don't get extended warranty protections through if you buy through Apple, and everyone who 's tried to deal with Apple out of warranty will till you they charge you an arm and leg if you don't have AppleCare or are in warranty. Only other way is if you get lucky with manager who's willing to overlook your warranty period but that is pretty rare.

went to my local store, got 18 $25 xbox cards. cashier "the system will lock me out if i run all 18 of these." "we can try 4 at a time, it might not lock me out that way" "if it locks me out, could take 5 mins to hours to let me run more"
luckily they all went through, paid cash, was slight hassle.
Sheesh. Why so many cards?

I had the same issue. The register wasn't discounting it properly. The manager was on the phone with someone trying to figure it out for a while. In the end, the manager had to charge the $50 and then give $10 cash back separately. It was a hassle.
I had this issue years ago as well and the same process happened. I remember it being a huge hassle to do so I'm not going to worry about the $10 I didn't get. Oh well.
