Would definitely get this if this had USB-C charging. Just that e-waste from big charging bricks.

my dell with a 10th gen intel does not specifically say it can charge usbc and came with a normal dell brick
but it will charge when i plug in a usbc and the symbol next to is is only the dp logo.
hard to believe this wont do the same thing, but i dont have any proof
this is a great price for a 12th gen but ive grown to accustomed to touch screens in my laptops

This deal appears to be the best BF laptop deal so far, for general home/office use.
Even for gaming, if you add 8GB of 3200Mhz RAM, the Intel UHD will be converted to Iris Xe which is ok for most light games.
WIFI6, and the available space for an additional 2.5'' HDD is a plus. Plan on adding a 2TB Samsung 2TB HDD for data storage.
Plus a USB-C port is just icing on the cake.
I'm in for 1. Thanks op
How is UHD converted to xe?

Like most of the other Dell Inspiron laptops (with the 41Wh battery), this may include a 2.5" SSD HD SATA space with caddy and cable for extra storage expansion.
this is a good laptop, but the lack of usb c charging is a major deal breaker for me. it means that I can't have one single 2x2" charger take care of watch, phone, laptop, etc.

My vote would still be for a latitude refurb. however, if you are not going to be taking this to travel a lot, mostly home use, this is indeed a good system.

it only came with 8GB of 2666Mhz RAM, what is the point to get 3200Mhz RAM?

My bad, meant to say 2666Mhz RAM.

Can someone already have this laptop please post the exact brand and model number of the RAM in it? Plan on buying the same stick and make it 16GB.

You may run RAMMon to retrieve the RAM info. But make sure you're downloading it from an official website, not tampered one.

That's an old processor, the passmark single core score (the most important metric for a budget system) on the Dell's 1215u is significantly faster than a 7th Gen i7.

I do photo editing on a really old dell currently. Just use the built in tools - not photoshop or anything like that. Curious if this will meet my needs. Also - I've never added RAM to a computer before but have changed screens on ipads/iphones multiple times. Should I be able to tackle adding RAM?

I purchased this laptop before, but there is really hard to install M2 SSD card because the black screw on the metal blocker is very tight and looks like the common screw driver does not work with it. Anyone knows how to unscrew it? Thank you.
