I've been watching a particular cruise over the last couple weeks. For that specific cruise, this "sale" is actually more expensive than it has been for the weeks I've been watching.

Kids on cruises is the absolute worst. And it's usually the most spoiled little brats, and their horrible parents, that are on them. Unless it Disney, please keep your disease spreading little entitled brats away from the other cruise lines.
If the parents would actually be parents, we wouldn't see some of the problems. Oh wait, the rules aren't meant for them. It's okay to take your kid in the pool with a diaper and let him leave a floater causing the crew to have to drain it. My baby is so cute, I'm sure you won't mind me dipping her like a tea bag in the hot tub, cause we all know what warm bath water does to babies, duck if it's a boy, lol. And as we move up the chain to the older kids having food fights in the elevators, blocking stairwells, hogging elevators just for the sport.

You're on a cruise bro. Everyone is a disease spreading brat. I've been on 2 and have had way more fun doing my own vacation planning.

We booked a Princess cruise to Alaska a couple of weeks ago at a much lower price than what this promotion works out to be. This promotion is on higher prices. I compared our prices with what this would work out to be for the same cruise next summer. This is not a deal.
How many passengers? Been looking for a summer 7-day Alaska cruise for four, when my kids are out of school. Haven't looked extensively, but when I've shopped around, the lowest I've found has been close to $3000 including port charges for one room, four passengers. With today's sale, I booked for almost exactly $2000. The third and fourth guests free made a huge difference. Seems like a really good sale if you're booking a room for four. Looks like my deposit is refundable until early March, though, so I'll continue to look to see if prices drop.

So no 3rd and 4th passenger free for you. That's probably the difference between our situations

I haven't been able to see the free 3+4 Guest either.
I was looking at Alaska cruises. Found the 3rd and 4th passenger free worked in May into early June, but not for a couple of cruises departing mid-June. The T&C says it works on select cruises or something like that, but wasn't clear about which. So it was trial and error for me.

I also compared our price when booked month ago with 3 person (balcony) with this promotion. We paid total around $4,000.

Does anyone know if the Antarctic cruises let you get off the boat in Antarctica?

Which port are you leaving from? I'm not finding one in summer with 3rd and 4th free

Which itinerary did you pick and around what dates? I can't seem to find anything lower than $5-7k for the 7 day RT from Seattle.

I just booked with a travel agency - VacationPlanningCompany.com - it was the same price, but they gave me $100 extra to spend on board.

From California ports, nothing lower than 400 per person, this sale is higher than most normal prices I have seen with princess

I noticed this too... Was going to book for my GF and I was bring my parents since they've always wanted to do an Alaskan cruise... Seems like 3/4 guests would be for children.
That's a lot of adults to one small room and 1 bathroom...

Yeah, 3/4 guess must be for children from what I saw.
