I had this for 6 months but then one of the latches broke. I hardly moved the lid, so be careful of the thin plastic.

Bought this last time. Do I think it's worth it? Not really. The plastic is super thin and you can find the battery tester $6 for 2 on Amazon. The box packaging is better made than the plastic box inside.

Bought one last year when they were $10 and I have to say that it is one of the beat purchases I've made. Love it:

If you just dump them in a box, the contacts of batteries may touch and they may lose charge or leak.

I've owned this for a year and it's very rugged and definitely a quality item. It's not "thin plastic" as someone just posted.

I think this would be good just for organization purposes instead of having random packages of battery containers spilling out everywhere and making a mess

I've had one of these going on 2 years now. I couldn't be happier. My coin batteries I always leave in their original package when I place them in Daddy instead of using the designated compartment.

Is this the exact same product as the one Costco carried for $10 a few weeks back? Or is there a difference dimensions / capacity / quality wise?

Funny that the SD price history for 90 days shows it has mostly been at this price, but went up around the 5th and now is back down.
