The hose adapter retails for $29.99, you can find them in Walmart for $14.97. Walmart griddle for $97 is in all black and the lid is not hinged. Costco is stainless, comes with the tank hose, has a hinged lid and knobs look higher quality. Any other differences?

Nice deal. I'm waiting on the bigger one at Costco to go on sale.
was thinking about this also. Missed out on the full size one. Just wonder if this will be to small.

Why do I need this and would it collect dust like my Foreman grill and my Krups waffle maker?

I just bought this for $159 two days. Anyone know if Costco will do a price adjustment retroactively?
You can also request price adjustments online, though they may only match the online price.

Tractor Supply has the 17" with hood for $130. I went with that - this one is too heavy for camping.

Up to you. You either are a cook or you're not.

Walmart and Amazon sell Coleman Aluminum table for $15. Unfortunately, that deal is dead early today.
I have one and it's too low to cook comfortably, IMO. Fine for portable trips, not so much for a permanent home base.

Other than the color difference, the size and weight are different as well between the Walmart and Costco models.

Walmart: W28 x D21.5 x H9.5 Weight: 49lbs
Costco: W27.5 x D24.5 x H13 Weight: 37.5lbs.

If you tailgate and/or camp, these specs may be a factor for you.

UPDATE : Just got my Costco version, weight is NOT 37.5lbs like the website says.
Package weight is 51lbs.

I measured 450-500 in the center and about 350 about 3 inches from the edges
On high it will get over 695. On low in center 490.

Anyone know how hot the griddle surface can get? Thinking of getting this to sear steaks for a nice crust after they get a warm bath.
I measured 450. There is a good yt video I saw whereas you don't want blazing hot to sear steaks. Go 350 and flip every 30 seconds

Edit as I learned this has a cool grease management system!

For those who own this, how is the grease/liquid management. For example, say you cook a bunch of smash burgers (or anything that generates a fair bit of grease or liquid), do it drain to a pan or something, or do you have to use like paper towels.... Thanks
Look at the photos, self explanatory.
