True. Other than the charging port, the only differences seem to be that the USB-C version (1) supports 20 bit/48 khz lossless audio when paired with an Apple Vision Pro, and (2) has a charging case that is dust and water resistant. So, if those are worth the extra $20, then by all means.
Walmart's $170 one is the Lighting connector version. There is a thread on it.
Most people don't really care for the connector difference because they will be charging wirelessly anyways but the USB-C version comes with dust-protection vs. the lightning not having at all, IP54 (USB-C) vs. IPX4 (lightning).
Target has Apple AirPods Pro Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds Headphones w/ MagSafe USB-C Charging Case (2nd Generation) on sale for $189.99.

Adaptive Audio Tailors Noise Control
Low-Distortion Custom Driver & Amplifier
Apple H2 Chip Algorithms, Bluetooth 5.3

I thought the Walmart deal with the Lightning version, not the USB-C version?

FYI, Walmart will have this for $170 on Nov 22, and Amazon has been matching both retailers this month.

Thought the Walmart price doesn't start until the 22nd.
It doesn't- and it's not for the same product either- sounds like whoever they got to match didn't bother looking beyond the words "airpod pro" and the price... I suspect it'd be somewhat challenging for others to replicate.

They price matched a physically different product with a different part number?
