Buy an extended warranty. If you filter reviews to this model, almost every review says the touch panel fails or barely works.

However, it appears that this until has no teflon, and uses enamel and stainless steel. So that is a huge win.

The absence of Teflon is very good.. Most have it, and it can be toxic.

Only if it vaporizes which happens at 620F. Teflon chips pass right through you.

If anyone's curious just google it. The bad stuff with Teflon happens at the factory, not in the kitchen. If anyone has objections to PFAS that's a valid reason.

However, it appears that this until has no teflon, and uses enamel and stainless steel. So that is a huge win.

I have one of these, and the touchscreen did stop working in several areas about a year after we got it. They were nice enough to replace it, but i kind of assume the new one will fail at some point as well.

However, other than that it works great.

I can confirm the control panel is a problem on these, plus the cooking grate has a tendency to fall out of the grooves (usually when a 12" pizza is in it). I just got the Gourmia that is at Costco for $119 to replace it. It is slightly larger (15" pizza size) and has french doors. Hoping it works out better. Instant pot makes another on similar to this one that has a knob for time and temp that might work better than this model.

I heard that French door ones leak the heat, which would be underwhelming.

I was also gonna buy that one, but ultimately passed.

I kind of want this, but just about ever single review says the panel fails =S I bought the pressure cooker/air fryer from the same company yesterday. Seems decent and same price.
