Upgraded case, face, and memory.
the pro version added the flashlight that, despite it sounded weird, is a must have feature IMHO. i wouldn't get the gen 2 over pro if i had the option.
eventhough i have the epix gen 2, i would actually jump for a epix pro if that watch come down to this price range.
I had the fenix 7 with flashlight, and I miss it now. I can see a market with wearable flashlight, like ring, watches , bracelets ….
$200 extra for a flashlight, it's a little too much

Agreed. I really wanted the epix pro. But 200 bucks it's way too much

but i suppose we can all agree that Garmin did a half ass job implementing the flashlight on the epix gen 2 (and other AMOLED models without dedicated flashlight) with that tiny 3 ring of light BS, when they could have gone the apple route and turn the entire screen white.

Those who actually focus on fitness functions and want to carry as few things as possible when doing a run? Maybe either doing in door or out door sports but may need some additional light when looking for equipment in the shadow or fetch something in the dark?
You know, none watch geeks?
speaking of which, i always find it is odd that there are people actually daily carry flash lights or carry knives unless you occupation calls for it.
I did like how it looked though - kind of 80s cool.
