This is a good deal for the price. Nice compressor. No power supply included, but runs on a standard pedal supply.

This is the only compressor I have used, but it seems to work decently. Had a lot of good remarks in YouTube reviews. I heard a compressor is used by Kruangbin for leveling out volume differences, and positioned in Tame Impala's eccentric pedal order to subtly strange effect. All that got me curious to see what it could do, sometimes subtle and other times bringing a different consistent squashed feel to my playing. I'm not sure if all comps would result in this, but there's a touch of added noise depending how it's set, which might be the the thing just evening out the volume peaks and lows and thus amplifying the not-quite silence of my other pedals in my chain.

Also, this thing seems to color things like EQ but can't quite tell how, or feels a tad thinner when engaged.
