I use this pedal for my bass rig. For the price tag its pretty decent. You do have to be very mindful of where you put it in the signal path though. I like messing with the position of which pedal goes before what just to mess with the sound but this has to be at the beginning or you will get a lot of noise from it. Especially a very loud pop when you flip it on and off if you have it after a distortion. At the beginning of the chain though its clean and works great especially for the price tag.

Now we just need to see someone do a live show with only Amazon basic gear.

Do you think that's not on their to do list? Hell I'd be surprised if they haven't done it already.

Surely it's just Joyo or some other relabeled overseas pedal

Amazon has had a line of branded guitar pedals for several years. They are basically re-badged Donner pedals. Fine for a beginner, but generally trash. Expect added line noise. For a few bucks more, the Behringer pedal line (available through Sweetwater in the US) is a lot higher quality.

10 years ago, after many computer/electronics purchases I decided to roll the dice and bought a Monoprice goldtop guitar. They were just starting their 'pro audio' line.

It's been hit or miss. I have truly awful audio cables from them, an 88-key keyboard which is very competent and well built, it just doesn't "play" well, and a Monoprice bass that also looks great, well made and also just doesn't play well.

But that original goldtop I have played the -tar- out of. Dumb thing is great. Electronics need work, etc and that's still what I pick up 95% of the time. [ It's worth noting that since I bought it the price went up 150% too. ]

So takeaway is your mileage may vary, but it can happen. And unlike Monoprice, Amazon's return policy isn't garbage.

I used to use this on my bass board until it fried itself.

Had zero regrets trashing it, and grabbed a Mooer Yellow Comp instead.
