Amazon has Apple AirPods (2nd Generation) Wireless Ear Buds, Bluetooth Headphones with Lightning Charging Case Included, Over 24 Hours of Battery Life, Effortless Setup for iPhone on sale for $79.99.

That's very debatable. There's not that much difference in this price range.
And the fit on these things is very good (compared to to shitty rubber tips on most of the other brands).
Like usual, earbud comfort is largely an individual thing. I haven't found a better fit for my ears than Apple airpods, though. Nothing comes close.
I don't even use an Apple phone. And I will still continue to buy their basic earbuds because of the overall comfort, fit, and quality (for the price).

Highly agree, airpods are the comfiest Bluetooth buds for casual wear. Also don't own any other apple product.
Snagged a pair to keep as a backup at work.
I had the regular airpods, and the battery only last about 2-3 years (heavy usage; 6-10 hrs a day (use while commuting and work)). Currently have the original Airpod Pro and when using it for for couple hours, makes my ear itches.

My son has the original ones from whenever they were released. He uses them constantly and they still work fine and he abuses them. I have the original Pro's for when I am flying which I do a lot. I have some Fiil in ear buds from years ago I think I paid $45 for. They are FAR superior to any AirPods when it comes to sound quality. It just depends on what you are looking for.
I agree. I've had mine for years and use them daily. I can't believe how the battery life holds up.
