My own fault for not checking the terms but I just assumed once I pay again they'd recover my saves but no it's actually wiped from their servers. Just so people are aware.
This is the biggest factor preventing me from picking up a switch again.

You can stack. I think 36 months max? If over that, you just have to wait for it to deplete enough to top off 12 more months.
