I just did a deep dive watching reviews for this thing. I *really* wanted to love it and I thought about returning the xbox one controller that I just purchased last night to get this instead, HOWEVER, while I didn't get to try this (this is just my impressions from looking at reviews), I couldn't pull the trigger (pun intended) because:
-it uses microusb instead of usb c (and I really don't want microusb devices anymore)
-in usb mode, the phone charges the controller, instead of the controller powering the phone
-the right stick is too close to the face buttons (it needs to be a few mm to the left), pressing the A or X buttons will have me nudging the right stick which would be so frustrating
-there were quite a few mentions about some slight input lag
I *really* hope that powera makes a revised version of this controller over the next year or so that uses USB C and includes a USB C to USB C with a USB A adapter in the box. this should cover all the bases for 2023 and beyond.
I am not buying anything from MOGA again. After buying their MOGA Power controller and having the thing die within a year I wasn't too happy. I fell into all the hype created by YouTubers who tried it for 5 min, said they loved it and decided to give it a shot. The lack of software support and quality was what really did it in for me.
