Weird. They showed it in theaters near me. Must have been special dealio. I stand corrected.

Timing sucks …I signed up for $2.99 each for 6 months last night because my account would have auto-renewed today for $7.99. I'm feeling duped 😢

It's why I never watch Hulu. I'm not sure how so many people are ok with it but it's a ton of ads. It's like 3-4 commercial breaks of 4 min from what I remember. Absolute joke
Bad memory I guess. We've had Hulu with ads for about 5 years. It's definitely not 4 minutes of ads. It's grown to usually 1 1/2 minutes ad blocks, it used to less than that. It used to be 30-60 second ad blocks.

Yes except most of the time it's the same adds repeated over and over again
This is the worst thing about streaming ads. Enough to drive you mad. Thank God for ad blockers.

Possibly free for Discover card holders: I'm not sure if this is still the case, but the last time I got this offer a kind slickdealer posted that if you use a Discover card that you never use for anything else, the Discover "small balance credit" will kick in and credit back the $0.99 each month. That worked for me a couple of years ago. Free Hulu for a year.

edit: According Dr of credit [doctorofcredit.com], several cards have a small balance credit/waiver policy.
This is correct, at least on some cards like my Capital One Quicksilver. I have been buying $1 dollar Amazon reloads for like 2+ years and they credit the dollar each month. But down side is you cannot use the card for anything else, and I think they recently may have changed it to only .99 cents a month. You cannot buy Amazon reloads for less thabn a dollar anymore :-( though if you redeem one cent in rewards along with it it does bring it down to 99 cents and then it still works.

Hulu used to be free lol. Now Paramount+ has more subscriber even though Hulu has been around as long as netflix. Their content is absolute rubbish. They should just merge it with didney+ already because both services are mediocre. Netflix can get away with being greedy and raising their prices because of the shit competition that has to offer 99c prices to pickup subscribers lmfao. Honestly pathetic of Hulu these past 10 years.

Has anyone figured out how to tie this in with the Amex Disney Plus bundle promotion?
You can add more add-on to pass $9.99. But all other add-on are $10+

For those having trouble seeing the deal...

If you are an active subscriber / canceled within the past 30 days, then you'll need to logout and create a new account.
But what if my subscription ends in a week? That's not technically an active subscription or a cancellation.

It's kind of sad that I can't justify spending one dollar a month on Hulu. I am not interested in their programming. Britbox and YouTube Premium are more my speed. Also Kanopy for free.

When you attempt to cancel it should offer you 6 months of Hulu for 2.99. And won't impact your Disney Plus no ads add-on
$6 for both for 6 months
I originally did this. But signed up for this new deal and cancelled. 3 is less than 6 and good for a year instead of 6 months.

Sorry but if I have to see ads I'm not paying a monthly subscription. This has got to be the biggest con/scam of 2023, all of these services pushing ads and expecting to get paid.
But clearly from the comments here, people are eager to pay more for less and somehow call it a deal.
