The one at BestBuy is the older "ProtectiveClean 4100" model.

Both models are excellent, and the reviewer above prefers the newer "4100 Power" model. I prefer the older ProtectiveClean version.
Looks like the main differences are:
1) the new model has fewer brush movements per minute (only 31,000 vs 62,000).
2) the new model is slimmer and lighter (3.4 oz vs 4.6 oz)
3) the new model has high & low speed, while the old model has one speed (high).
4) the new model requires a standard USB-plug adapter that is not included, while the old model includes a plug.
5) the new model appears to have more color options

Now it sits unpacked cause the previous thread made me think about issues like gum recess.
All in all after reading on the subject, returning mine back unopened in a sealed shipping box.
I mean manual way worked for me for 25+ years and I do not see it failing anytime soon.
This(electric) needs proper technique of using and some healthy gums. Nothing against a deal or product, just for your information.

I use the old style E series. And it's amazing. I am thinking about buying this one but I am not sure if it's an upgrade or not. I might just buy to see because it's only. 10 dollars more than replacement brush heads so idc

I got this model over the new one and I'll say this about it. Battery life is supposed to go solid green > blinking green > blinking orange before dying but I have yet to see anything past blinking green before it dies. If the pressure sensor is working I absolutely cannot tell a difference. This one might be on me being stupid, because I have only paid tangential attention, but I am pretty sure the timer is supposed to be 30s x4 and the first section is definitely shorter than 30s.
