This deal has the benefit of a full year of service (but only a set amount of data), also unlocks after 60 days, and you don't have to go into a store to get it, but you also pay $40 extra than the Target one. If you're going to use the service anyways, it is nice to have it prepaid.
I would also consider the Mint Mobile Pixel 7 Pro deal. It is twice as expensive, but your data refills every month, and you get a much better phone (but again, twice as expensive). https://www.mintmobile.
Or you can just put the Tracfone Sim in another Unlocked phone and leave the 6a phone in the draw and wait for 60 days and then turn it on to have the 6a automatically unlocking?

Would wait the 60 days to unlock then you can buy the tracfone BYOP sim kit for 98cents at Amazon/Walmart/Bestbuy/Target and switch plan to any unlocked phone.
