Reolink 4K+ 12MP Ultra HD 16 Channel Camera System with 8 12MP Cameras
$699.99
May be an issue with your setup? I'm running a reolink NVR and cameras and all my cameras work fine. A couple of them are on 125ft+ runs with CAT6. Are you using solid copper CAT6 or stranded or CCA?
Also the gui has an option when viewing playback events to filter by events that detect people, vehicles, or general motion.

For security cameras, you don't want higher FPS for many reasons. The biggest is the amount of storage recording would he exponentially higher since all cameras are recording 24/7. Also, night time performance will be significantly worse with high fps. The more frames, the less light that hits the sensor for each frame. 30+ frames will be a dark image at night, and just a shadow of a figure. Even a 2MP camera with a good sensor and 15-20fps will be like viewing HD vs. analog of a camera 4K and 30+ fps at night time.
Storage is a non-issue in my case. I just need a camera that offers details such as facial features and clear license plates at a distance of about 30 ft or more at night. Any recommendations?

Not this. You'll need a camera that is 4mm+, larger sensor size(1/2.8" if it's a 2MP) or larger. There are license Plate readers and there's cameras that can help show the license plates. The readers are going to be really expensive.
20ft+ is going to be tough to do for any camera, you'll need favorable light conditions, camera positioning, and the right type of camera. Check Ipcamtalk, they have a bunch of guides. I'm not an expert myself, just been reading a lot because I'm in the market myself.
edit: some brands that are highly rated:
AXIS, Ubiquity, Hikvision, Dahua, and Hanwha.
If you're dead set on reolink, ill warn you, their night time motion recording is dog ***t. the new CX410 is decent, but still suffers from motion ghosting.
both Hikvision and Dahua are chinese and best bang for your buck. however, i refuse to give Chinese camera manufacturers any money for their shady security history, and their involvement with the Uyghur genocide. Hanwha is a Korean company, and I've been looking into that brand.
