well.. this or 400$ dyson on sale? so hard to choose..
I'll choose for you, the 400 dollar Dyson on sale.
"Why", you ask?
This is a hot tool.
This is a hot tool with the lowest technology.
Hot tool + organic material = burn.
Burn hair = paying around 400 dollars in products over time to get it "fixed" ; plot twist, degraded proteins can't be fixed this way.
Why fix burned hair? When you don't fix it, this happens 👉https://nanahood.com/wp-content/u...hoto10.jpg
But don't allow me to dissuade you from this "coconut oil infused" frying pan. 😉

Ok, I dont know much about these things, but does not this have temperature controller?
From your pic it looks like they used soldering iron at 800 degrees, but otherwise would not 400 degrees be the same on this one and on dyson ?

They have a temperature control. The control settings at "1", just like the picture shows. In other words, you're on your own to figure out what "5" means.
The lady in the picture's hair looks like that because she's, most likely, bought a malfunctioning cheap hot tool that burned the piece she was curling off. Hair curls like that once it's sustained a crazy amount of heat in a short amount of time. It's happened to me, then my iron started frying itself. Lol
Most people don't care how hot the iron is getting, they just want their hair to curl. They don't realize they're doing a ton of damage over time.
Dyson doesn't have a curling iron. Their flat iron goes up to 410F. The heat is not concentrated in one spot, the plates are not ceramic, and it has controls to prevent burning, unlike like a lot of the lower brands. It's an engineered product that thought about how hair reacts to heat. You're paying for that patent. Before Dyson, Babyliss was up there, without the technology aspect, and their stuff was like 150 - 200 a pop.
Men think it's expensive, because you only see a one-time payment. Women that kind of care about their appearance, at a very bare minimum, drop 100-200 dollars a year on beauty items.

But like they say, the cheap comes out expensive.
