No lag, plenty of loading screens, though, but that's the compromise, that and the downgrade in graphics, but the performance is there. I beat it in 27 hours and I didn't feel a minute of my time was wasted. It's a very engaging experience.

I agree. Every form of media has been politicized to push agendas and ideologies. I just want to play awesome games in my little downtime and not have views pushed on me. There's one reason and one reason only why Hogwarts received NO recognition. That's because of the venomous outcry against the IP's creator and her personal beliefs and views not following in line with the hive mind. It's a mind blowing $1 billion in sales game and continues to chart at the top.

Sorry for the late response, and small world. I have a 3700x and a 2060 as well as a 3050 and now a 4080. Was able to run fine on low to medium settings on the 3050 and 2060. Nothing to send home about.

It is a poorly optimized game.

I found the bottle neck to be memory and vid card rather than processor until I got the 4080.IF you have newer xbox or ps5, go that route than spending the $$ on PC.

I got the 4080 to play it on the VR mod. Worth it but expensive.

Don't think it's worth it even at $30.. Don't get me wrong the setting/Hogwarts/everywhere in the game is beautifully made.. but the spell casting/fighting system gets old quick and the game feels more like a Hogwarts simulator. I think it's a combination of over hyping the game, expecting childlike immersion (thinking it might bring back that "magical" feeling) and just plain mediocre repetitive gameplay.. If this was when people were younger and more into Harry Potter I think most would look over any of the negative details.. just my opinion.

Can I play this game on my aged gtx 750 ti with an 4790k i5 processor? I only have 4 lil cores ...

it says 960 recommend, but if I go to 1080p and lowest settings....

That's exactly what this "game" is made for. It's actually a terrible video game but a decent interactive Harry Potter world for fans of the series.
