Don't like the compression straps on the bottom (dual purpose for hanging stuff?), the waste of having every layer padded including the inside pockets (takes up a lot of space and adds weight), and insane number of dangling straps and unremovable hip belt. The laptop pocket is gusseted for no reason and makes that pocket very small/tight.
Minor thing, mine is all black and all the zippers are hard to see. The closed zipper positions overlap a lot with other pocket zippers - likely not a big issue if you get any other color.

I've seen better implementations of a hip strap on other backpacks and I didn't see any instructions when I got it.
