Worthless comment. Thanks for the effort.

I have had this grill since they moved the grease catch to the back. We cook many thing including hibachi, smash burgers, and yes. . . Eggs and pancakes. This is the same price i paid black friday the year i got mine ($200) plus the cover ($50).

This price is about the best you will get unless you go used or get lucky end of summer clearance.

Despite the above posters worthless remark, the beat thing about this griddle is cooking bacon. Lots and lots of bacon. Takes all the grease and such outside and away from the stove. You can cook pounds of bacon at once. Amazing. Worth it just for bacon.
What if I told you that you can have more than one outdoor cooking device that each suits a different need.
Weird. Have one and have never made eggs and pancakes on it. Steaks, burgers, tacos, carne asada, chicken breasts, asparagus, green beans, stir fry, nachos, etc.

Get a real grill like a Weber, why spend $300 on something that only cooks eggs and pancakes
Check out YouTube.

This has more power than a mere Weber. Most restaurants cook on a flat stainless steel surface btw. Does your restaurant only cook eggs and beacon? lol what a joke. This literally cooks everything. In fact, it can cook more stuff than a Weber, which is a horrible grill btw, even their best ones.

Agreed that a griddle has more power than a regular grill. But to say Weber grills are horrible....cmon, man. Their Summit grills are pretty stout and their warranty is top-notch. I have a Summit going on 15 years now and it still works like the day I bought it.

Bought this last month and best $250 I've spent on a kitchen tool! Use this in a month more than my grill and I've had the grill for over a year!

Any reason to get this over the hinged version? I've been waiting for that one
Hinged lid you can baste everything on the griddle all at once. I prefer to use disposable foil pans to baste one thing at a time, like steaming vegetables, while meat cooks uncovered elsewhere the griddle. So you dont need a hinged lid for cooking purposes. I have the TS model for 3 years now, it's a great griddle.

You bought the Weber and now regret it so are trying to get others to make the same rook mistake you did, right? It was at this moment he knew, he mucked up.

Is this the same one that sells at Costco for $399?
It's not the exact same, but you get what you pay for. If you need the extra front shelf and the hood that is like a regular grill, go with costco. If you are going to use it to cook and not care about the extras, go with tractor supply.

I don't care about warranty or any of the other BS. I care about grill performance. Weber does not perform as a premium grill.

I'm a portfolio manager. Go lookup the average salary on Glassdoor, come back here and let me know how many multiples my salary is above yours.
While I agree with you about the uses of a blackstone (I'm buying this one as a matter of fact), $228k at the very tippy top end with a median around $160k is probably not internet bragworthy, and certainly not multiple times higher than anyone with a grownup job.

I'm torn. I just want the one that has air fryers but I don't know it's 278 bucks worthy.
A good friend bought the model with the air fryer. Not sure of the details but he said he is not a fan of it and will just bring out a regular ~$40 air fryer for use in the future should the need arise.

From reports here and elsewhere, the lower BTU is noticeable when trying to do things that require high heat like searing steaks. Not so much for pancakes.
but the company making it said there is no difference, how can that be?!?
